DISPERSAL SALE – STAGE 1
20th March 2010
Wyndamah Poll Dorset Stud is dispersing.
The Oxley family has been breeding dorsets for 72 years.
Wyndamah has been commercially focused with emphasis being placed on growth and muscle so that clients can be selling lambs off earlier, many getting 24kg carcases by 14 weeks.
Wyndamah has been involved in sire evaluation and progeny trials since the early 80’s to establish a benchmark with the industry and other studs. Wyndamah has participated with Lambplan since its inception.
Sires and ewes in the stud must be high performers on Lambplan but importantly, be structurally and physically sound to meet the rigorous conditions of the Mallee as well as the irrigation country.
1st Stage of the dispersal will be held on property 20th March 2010.
- 500 mixed age ewes mated – most scanned in lamb
- 100 ‘09 Autumn drop mated
- 5 Sires
2nd stage of dispersal - annual on property ram sale in October this year which will include the 09 spring drop ewes.
The dispersal provides you with an opportunity to purchase genetically and structurally sound ewes with open faces and high performance figures.
